We've been reading Pascaline Lepeltier's writing and thoughtful musings on wine since she was turning out tasting notes on the Chambers Street website many years ago.

One Thousand Vines, originally published in French, is an expansive tome on all facets of wine -- part history book, part reference book, part philosophical treaty on the meaning of wine. We'll be pouring over this densely packed (and beautifully illustrated) treasure for years to come.
